Earlier in the day Woodsy just missed out on the podium in the Men’s Ski Slopestyle coming in 4th with 72 points after qualifying in first place with 94 points the previous day. The X Games is the largest freeskiing and snowboarding competition in the world, held at Aspen in Colorado for winter 2017.

Katie Ormerod claimed her first X Games medal over the weekend receiving Bronze in the Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle with 80.33 points, behind American’s Jamie Anderson and Julia Marino.
Ormerod said after her medal: "I'm super happy to get my 1st X Games medal!! It's always been on my bucket list to medal here so I couldn't be happier! Especially to medal in the most high profile event of the season in such a tough and progressive field of riders."

Jamie Nicholls came away with silver in the Snowboard Slopestyle at the FIS World Cup in Seiseralm, Italy after stomping a fantastic run scoring 87.90 points. The Brit-heavy leader board also featured Billy Morgan taking 4th place with 84.40 points and Rowan Coultas in 7th place with 78.55.
Millie Knight and her guide Brett Wild won silver in the super combined at the World Para Alpine Skiing Championships in Italy.
