Holland America Line has announced plans to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Alaska's statehood.
The cruise line will discount a number of its CruiseTour itineraries and cut the cost of stateroom upgrades.
A number of culinary events are also in the pipeline, with special menus and dining features planned.
Richard D Meadows, the cruise line's vice president of marketing, sales and guest programmes, said there has never been a better time for British passengers to enjoy a cruise to Alaska.
"We are offering incredible values on CruiseTours this year, and because of the historical significance of the 50th anniversary, guests in Alaska can take advantage of special fares and events," he added.
Holland America is currently offering 29 CruiseTour itineraries from ten to 20 days in length.
In other news, it was reported earlier this week that Holland America Line has been awarded 65 annual "use days" of Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
