After the excellent news last week of being nominated in 2 categories at the Travolution Awards, we are over the moon to be shortlisted for 2 awards at the World Snow Awards! Presented by The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Magazine, the World Snow Awards recognises the best companies in the ski industry, highlighting the top performers from the past 12 months and the most promising prospects for the season to come.
Iglu Ski has been nominated for Specialist Travel Agent and Travel Innovation Award for our new website. These categories are decided by a judging panel of leading figures in the UK skiing and snowboarding industry, but selected categories are open to public voting.
The past 12 months have been one of the most important periods in Iglu Ski’s 19 years of operation. With the launch of a new, redesigned version of our website in November 2016 we have been able to push the brand further than ever before. With a modern attractive design and enhanced search logic, skiers and snowboarders can search for the perfect ski holiday for them better than ever. The improvements reinforce Iglu Ski’s position as the UK’s number one specialist ski travel agency as it aligns evolving technology with advancing consumer needs.
For winter 2017/18 we have expanded our ski holiday portfolio to provide holidaymakers even more variety for their winter getaway. This season we boast 51 new ski chalets and hotels with many in our leading ski resorts to give our customers extra choice in their favourite ski resorts. With the addition of 4 new ski partners this year we now work with 62 tour operators in order to provide winter enthusiasts with the largest selection of ski deals anywhere.
The winners will be annoced at The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show at Battersea Evoultion 26th October 2017.
