La Plagne offers "some of the best skiing in the Alps"

La Plagne offers "some of the best skiing in the Alps" Those looking to book trips to France for a snowsports holiday may wish to take their ski holidays in La Plagne, after it was reported that it is one of the top areas.

According to the Times, La Plagne has had "some of the best skiing in the Alps for many years".

Additionally, the publication notes that it boasts the "famous" Bellecote glacier for glacier skiing while La Plagne also has links to the nearby Les Arcs skiing and snowboarding region and also has a practically "unlimited" range of intermediate pistes.

Such pistes would be well suited no doubt to those on family ski holidays if members of the group have varying levels of experience.

Additionally, it was noted that architecture in the ski resort is also improving thanks to a collection of new ski-in, ski-out chalet apartments which have a "contemporary" look, are designed with families in mind and overlook the Grand Rochette and Front de Neige pistes.

La Plagne is one of the largest ski and snowboarding regions in Europe and is popular among those on family ski holidays.
