Last call for ski holidays

Last call for ski holidays Britons looking to get a last slice of the skiing action before the 2007/08 ski season ends may want to head out for last minute European ski holidays while the weather holds.

According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, excellent conditions can currently be found on ski holidays in Tignes, while those considering skiing in Les Arcs will also find great powder at this higher altitude resort.

The Ski Club representative in Val d'Isere meanwhile commended the off-piste powder and described the resort as having "excellent conditions for the time of year".

Ski holidays can also be enjoyed at bargain prices towards the end of the season, the Ski Club advised.

In other European ski holiday news, Alpe d'Huez is preparing to host the France Ski Cross Championship this weekend.

Taking place on April 11th and 12th 2008, the event has been rescheduled from having been previously arranged to be held in La Plagne.
