New lift pass system for Meribel
The ski resort, which forms part of the famous Les 3 Vallees, will benefit from a new "hands free" lift pass system that will make access to the slopes easier than ever.
The system was introduced last winter to Meribel ski holidays and has now been installed on all ski lifts. Skiers simply scan their pass for validation, so getting up the mountain will be as quick as skiing back down.
In addition to the scanners, those on their ski holidays in Meribel can re-use their pass by recharging it as often as they like for the required amount of time.
Passes, which are known as the P@s or the Pret@skier, can be recharged over the internet or on the phone.
