The ski resort of Val Thorens, situated in Les 3 Vallees, is moving with the times and offering a new half-day lift pass for skiers.
It's not unusual to arrive in the afternoon at your holiday destination and squeeze in a few hours of skiing before darkness falls.
Now piste lovers enjoying their
ski holiday in Val Thorens can do the opposite by taking advantage of the new half-day morning pass, which allows access to the slopes from 09:00 to 12:30.
The morning-only pass could be ideally suited for those on their
Val Thorens ski holidays who don't have the stamina to ski all day, or perhaps those with young children.
Variety is the spice of life, meaning the rest of the day can be spent unwinding at an outdoor pool or perusing some of the shops, especially if you want to buy a few treats for friends back home.
