Ski holidays in Whistler are set to be revitalised by the creation of a peak-to-peak gondola.
The innovative development - set for completion in December 2008 - will take visitors from the Roundhouse Lodge in Whistler to Blackcomb Mountain's Rendezvous Lodge.
"The peak-to-peak gondola will create a dramatically enhanced experience that no other mountain resort in North America, possibly the world, can offer," comments Dave Brownlie, the resort's Chief Operating Officer.
"We are going to completely revolutionise our guests' experience."

Whistler ski holidays will face the thrilling challenge of contending with the location's 8,171 acres of terrain, with the new construction enabling them to spend even more time skiing.
Meanwhile, summer visitors to the area can take advantage of the resort's fantastic hiking trails.
