Pop-up Opening Parties

Pop-up Opening Parties

With nine weeks until the first resorts open and 12 weeks until the season proper begins the resort opening parties are top of the pops right now.

The biggest early season party is the Ischgl opening party who have announced The Gossip are their headlining act, following in the footsteps of Katy Perry from last year. The first festival of the season takes place on the 27th November on an open air stage near the base station of the Silvrettabahn cable car. The resort are expecting crowds of up to 20,000 skiers and will be opening the lifts on Friday 26th November.

The next resort to jump on the band-wagon is Schladming, who will be opening on the 4th December with US pop-star Kesha headlining with One Republic in support.

Over the coming weeks expect a few other resorts to pop-up with opening party announcements.
