Elton John fans travelling on
ski holidays in Ischgl later this spring will be in for a treat, after it was reported that the legendary singer is to perform at the resort's closing Top Of The Mountain concert.
The lunchtime concert will take place at Idalp, on May 3rd before the ski resort closes on May 4th 2008.
And those who possess lift passes to enable their
skiing in Ischgl can attend the concert for free.
"We are very excited to have signed Sir Elton to perform his second concert at Ischgl. It will be a fabulous concert and a great way to round off what is proving to be a fantastic season with wonderful snow for our skiers and boarders," Ischgl Tourist Director Andreas Steibl told World Snowboard Guide.
Other artists performing at the famous Top Of The Mountain concert include the Stereophonics and Jimmy Cliff.
Earlier on in the ski season, Barbadian singer Rihanna opened proceedings by singing at the Ischgl Top Of Mountain opening concert.
