Guests on a
ski holiday in Serre Chevalier can now take part in a run grooming school as part of their French ski experience.
For the first time, the resort - which covers 250 kilometres of pistes in the French Alps between the Col du Lautaret and Briancon - is offering a 20-minute run grooming session for its visitors.
It costs 50 for a session, in which ski enthusiasts will be able to "take a driver's seat" in one of the resort's ski run grooming machines.
Training includes learning how to drive on snow, including banked runs, bumps and slopes and is guaranteed to provide excitement, according to the resort's website.
On your
Serre Chevalier ski holiday a number of other unique opportunities are on offer off the slopes, including sampling mulled wine in the Bistrot du Bez and shopping in the many picturesque villages dotted throughout the Alpine valley.
The resort also offers a snowpark and half pipe for skiers and snowboarders looking to hone their skills. It features a sound system and barbeque, as well as areas for beginners and experts.
Night skiing is available until 21:00 local time during French winter holidays.
