Ski, Board & Snow Fun FREE at The Snow Centre on August Bank Holiday Monday Looking to try out skiing or snowboarding before your first winter ski trip? Or just looking for some great family fun this bank holiday? The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead will be holding an open day on August Bank Holiday following the hugely successful event it held in May to coincide with its 5th Birthday.

Lift passes on Monday will be just £10 an hour and then there are Free Beginner Ski and Snowboard Taster sessions.

There will be something for all ages:

Age Three +
This Bank Holiday August Weekend the ‘Super Slide’ will be in the car park of The Snow Centre FREE for all the children who want to have a go.

Age Four +
No previous experience required to Sledge. Whizz, spin and slide down the slope on a Rubber Ringo or Sledge.

Age Three to Six
3 – 6 year olds can try snowboarding or skiing for FREE on Bank Holiday Monday. The Burton Riglets will be set up for the mini riders and the Mini Ski Park for the super sliders. All equipment is provided however it’s suggested you take a waterproof suit and a pair of gloves as they are on real snow, outside.


Age Four to Adults
The chance to try skiing or boarding if you've never done it before for FREE.

Fifteen minute taster sessions are available between 10am – 4pm, and are available for both Adults (age17+) & Juniors (age 4 -16) – places are limited so it’s recommended to book your space.

After all that exercise and excitement treat yourself to a bite to eat from the fabulous Snow Centre’s Bavarian BBQ and marvel at the Piste Basher Demonstration
