Ski Club says: Plan ski holidays now

Ski Club says: Plan ski holidays now If you keep pushing thoughts of booking a ski holiday to the back of your head because it seems far too early, think again, one commentator has declared.

According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, holiday bargains are "to be had", and those who get booking now can beat the crowds to the best holidays.

Meanwhile, for those who cannot wait until the 2008-09 winter ski season to get some time on the slopes in, ski holiday in Tignes are an option, as the resort is re-opening for summer skiing this weekend.

Skiing is available on Tignes' Grande Motte glacier and will be open to die hard ski fans until the end of August, by which point it will only be a matter of weeks until the countdown to winter skiing recommences.

The Ski Club also reports that summer glacier skiing is already available to those on ski holidays in Les Deux Alpes, while Val d'Isere summer skiing will kick off later this month.
