Snow Report | 08 Jan 2014 from Portes du Soleil

Snow Report | 08 Jan 2014 from Portes du Soleil Whilst our friends across the pond were hit with fierce snowfall this week, Europe also saw heavy snowfall across much of France and Italy with 60cm recorded in the Portes du Soleil, 30cm in Les Deux Alpes and 20cm in Les Gets. Hear the latest live report from our sales agents on the peaks of Morzine.

Switzerland saw similar conditions with 15cm seen in Verbier topping up the healthy base established earlier in the season. Austria received a light dusting across the board with the best conditions found in Obergurgl with 25cm falling on Monday. Andorra also had their first big snowfall for the season with depths of up 180cm now recorded in the alpine.

The coming week will see more sunshine through most of the Alps with light snow expected tomorrow in Switzerland and France.
