Snow Report | 09 Jan 2017 Snow conditions in the Alps are now picking up as resorts in Austria and Switzerland have received up to 100 cm of snow in the past 7 days and another 134 cm is forecast to hit regions in the next 5 days!

Austria has been the firm winner recently with incredible snowfalls in most resorts. Sölden is top of the list with 90 cm of snow in the past week and Zell am See, Kaprun, Fieberbrunn and Obergurgl receiving between 70-80cm of fresh snow.

Samnaun in Switzerland has seen 102cm in the past week and Davos, Klosters, Arosa, Murren and Andermatt getting between 50-60cm if snowfall.

France received a small amount of snow, the most being 31 cm at Sameons and 24 cm in Les Gets, but luckily, so much more snow is forecast this week – 128 cm is currently forecast in the next 5 days in Megeve, with most featured resorts forecasting between 60-80 cm in the next 9 days.
