Snow Report | 11 Mar 2014

Snow Report | 11 Mar 2014 Strap on those boards, click on those skis and head out to the mountains for some stunning springtime skiing.  This past week has seen beautiful bluebird conditions across most European resorts, with excellent visibility and lots of sunshine (ideal for perfecting that goggle tan!).

Austria still has some excellent snow conditions, particularly on the higher slopes.  Over the next 9 days, Kitzbuhel is predicted 22cm of snow, Zell am See 21cm, Ischgl 9cm and Obergurgl 7cm.  France has also seen some fantastic weather this week, with great snow and plenty of sunshine.  In the past week Argentiere has seen 30cm of snow, Val d’Isere 25cm, Courchevel 20cm and Tignes 20cm.  Switzerland is still experiencing excellent snow conditions, especially on the higher pistes.   Last week, Saas Fee saw 40cm of snowfall and Zermatt 15cm.  Over the next 9 days there are expected to be a few light dustings, including 7cm in both Klosters and Davos.  Italy still has plenty of snow across all of its resorts with 50cm of snow falling in Sauze d’Olux last week and 25cm in Cervinia.
