It’s been a brilliant week on the slopes with spectacular sunshine and beautiful bluebird days; half term skiers have enjoyed a perfect ski week! Over the next 9 days heavy snow is forecast in areas of Europe with up to 80cm in Austria, 70cm in France and Switzerland, and up to 45cm in Italy and Spain.

Andorra has received the best of the snow this week with 27 cm is the Grandvalira resorts – Soldeu, El Tarter and Pas de la Casa and 22 cm in the Vallnord region – Arcalis and Pal/Arinsal. The USA still leads the way with the best snowfall, in the last 7 days Sunday River received 175 cm, Alyeska 110 cm, Stowe 72 cm and Killington 65 cm.

Mammoth Mountain in the USA remains the snowiest resort in the world right now after receiving over 1000 cm of snow so far this season and currently boats a 787 cm high upper base. The resort is expecting another 248 cm over the next 9 days.
