Snow Report | 25 Mar 2014 The Winter-like conditions returned to Europe this weekend, with big snowfall across most resorts.  Conditions are perfect for those who want to grab a last minute ski holiday.

Flaine saw 80cm of snowfall this weekend, with 40cm of it falling on Monday alone.  50cm of fresh snow fell in Avoriaz, 50cm in Chamonix, 65cm in Val Thorens, 15cm in Val d’Isere and 40cm in Meribel.  In Austria this weekend, Hintertux saw a huge 110cm of snowfall, Kitzbuhel 75cm, Zell am Zee 60cm and St Anton 33cm.  Italy also experienced excellent conditions with Passo Tonale receiving 50cm, Cortina 30cm, Canazei 60cm and Cervinia 45cm.  Over in Switzerland, Grindelwald had 75cm, Verbier 55cm, Zermatt 35cm and Klosters 70cm.

The coming week is forecast to bring yet more snow top ups to most European resorts, with temperatures staying low throughout.
