Snow report | 27 Mar 2017 Just as everyone thought the ski season was winding down Mother Nature hit parts of the Alps with up to 60 cm of fresh snow over the weekend. Winter is no where near over yet with exceptional snow conditions in popular resorts such as Tignes, Val d’Isere, Val Thorens and Alpe d’Huez.

Tignes and Val d’Isere has reported the largest snowfall over the weekend with up to 60cm of freshies on the top slopes and 20-30cm down in the villages. Val Thorens reports 40cm of fresh snow and Alpe d’Huez received up to 30cm across the resort. Cervinia in Italy has been one of the snowiest resorts this week with a huge 50 cm snow dump on Sunday totalling over 1metre of fresh snow in the last 7 days. Andorra has also had an incredible week of snowfall with up to 60 cm in Soldeu and another half a metre forecasted over the next 9 days.

It is currently looking like a fine week in ski resorts in the Alps this week before even more snow is forecast next weekend – up to 1 metre in leading ski resorts! It may have been the last weekend of March but we still have 4 weeks of departure weekends to go and ski holiday deals available up until 27th April! Bag a last minute ski deal and jet off to the slopes for a fantastic end of season holiday. Winter isn’t over yet!
