Snow Report | 28 Feb 2015 Following even more heavy snowfall it been another incredible week in ski resorts in Europe. Conditions are excellent and the best we’ve seen this season so far. The clouds cleared mid week for skiers and snowboarders to make the most of the fresh snow with beautiful blue bird skies. But the clouds are drawing back in for even more snowfall coming the weekend and next week – with up to 250 cm forecast over the next 9 days #powderalert

There’s no better time for a ski holiday!

France
It’s been an amazing week for snowfall in France. In the past 7 days ski resorts have received up to 1m of snow, including 106 cm in Avoriaz. There was a break in the snowstorms with bright blue bird skies on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday 27th the clouds returned with fresh new snow - Avoriaz and Flaine recieved 25cm, Argentiere 15cm plus Les Carroz and Samoens got 7cm.

Val d'Isere - 27/02

Austria
Conditions are excellent in Austria at the moment and snow base depths are higher than this time last year. Resorts have had up to 47 cm of snowfall this week with a handful of resorts receiving an extra dusting on Friday before transfer weekend. Resorts with the best snow base are Solden, Kaprun, Bad Gastein, St Anton, Obergurgl and Obertauern.

Andorra
Andorra continues to have a kick-ass season with up to 2m of snowfall in the past 7 days! Soldeu has had 208 cm, Pas de la Casa 150 cm and Arcalis and Arinsal with 120 cm.


Soldeu - 26/02

Italy
Great snow conditions continue in the Italian ski resorts. Cervinia has had an amazing week with 118 cm of freshies, while most other resorts received between 20-50 cm.

Switzerland
The good news stretches over to the Swiss Alps too with up to 1m of snow in the last 7 days. The latest snowfall was on Friday with an extra 15 cm in Davos, Klosters and Murren, and 10 cm in Crans Montana, Laax, Grindelwald, Wengen and Zermatt.

USA
Ski resorts in the States also benifited from fresh snow this week with up to 23 cm falling at Vail and the latest forecasts suggest up to 50 cm falling this week.
