Snow Report | 30 Jan 2017

Snow Report | 30 Jan 2017 After a few weeks of minimal snowfall, snow is back on the radar with highs of over 100cm forecast over the next 5 days in resorts in France, Switzerland, and Italy. This is great news in preparation for the fast approaching half term weeks where resorts will be much busier in than usual and the fresh snowfall will help improve the on piste snow conditions.

Snow started falling on Monday night in France and Austria and it has carried on in areas on Tuesday morning. Between 30-40 cm of snow is forecast to hit resorts in Switzerland and Austria on Monday including Andrermatt, Engelberg, Murren, Lech, St Christoph, St Anton, Laax, Gstaad, Ischgl and Wengen.
