Spring is into full flow now, Formula 1 is back on the telly and the first month of bank holiday weekends approaches. Out in the mountains, the famous March combination of great snow and sunny afternoons is back.
Switzerland is having a blinding end to the month with over half a metre of pow falling in Saas Fee and Zermatt. Verbier, Mürren and Wengen are all boasting nearly 30cm of snowfall too.
Italy is also gearing up for a cracking last week of March. Cervinia is due 46cm of snowfall over the next 5 days, with the Milky Way resorts of Sestriere and Sansicario expecting a decent 26cm of snowfall.
The ever popular France isn't far behind with the weekend snowfall, Val d'Isere and Tignes are expecting 29cm of powder, Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens are looking forward to around 25cm of spring pow and Les Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez are looking down the barrel of 30cm+ of our favourite white stuff.
Heading across to Austria the snowfall isn't as heavy but is more than worth a mention. Solden and Obergurgl are expecting around 15cm of spring snow, with St. Anton and Ischgl forecast a much needed 10cm+. To finish off Europe, our new favourite Spanish resort, Formigal, can boast 22cm of snow over the weekend.
North America hasn't been left out either in this week's snow report. Aspen and Steamboat can boast 45cm, Jackson Hole and Beaver Creek 37cm and Whistler another 26cm.
The season's end is fast approaching, last minute holidays are starting at £199 pp and the end of season snowfall is looking like boasting some of the best conditions, so forget your sun loungers and get your ski boots out for one last holiday — oh, and don't forget the sun tan lotion.
