The interestingly named Festi'Val Tho kicks off in the popular
ski holiday destination of Val Thorens on March 25th.
Billed as a celebration of snow and the onset of spring, the music event begins with a live performance by Probleme Child, followed by a DJ set complete with competitions and a dance show.
Later in the evening, there will be a giant aperitif and tapas apres-ski event at the nearby Rendez-Vous bar.
All the live music will be performed on a special outdoor stage which has been specially built for the occasion, reports Merinet.com.
Val Thorens is located more than 2,200 metres above sea level and has around 250km of piste.
As well as having plenty of skiing action on offer, the resort also boasts a variety of bars and restaurants, in addition to a cinema, a gym and an indoor swimming pool.
