Time to dust off your boots, wax your skis and adjust your bindings: Tignes reopens at the end of this month.
Those familiar with a
ski holiday in Tignes will know that this means fresh powder snow skiing, great facilities and pistes for family holidays.
A premier
European ski holiday destination, Tignes is located in the Espace Killy ski area, which boasts 300 kms of pistes including a wide selection of green and blue beginner runs, intermediate reds and more difficult black runs.
Tignes is due to reopen on September 29th with 130 hectares of permanent ice and 20 kms of piste.
"The resort's snowpark (750 m by 250 m) is the place for freestylers to hang out, with bumps and jumps for everyone and a cool zone," Tignes reports.
The website also notes that the soft snow in the region makes it ideal for beginners or those on
family holidays.
