Tour the French Alps in style for charity

Tour the French Alps in style for charity Holidaymakers planning to visit the French Alps in the coming weeks may want to take part in an event that offers a unique way to explore the region while raising money for charity.

A four day supported trip, the Alps to Ardeche cycle ride has been organised in aid of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and will kick off from the ski resort of Courchevel on April 28th.

Riders can either start the trip from this resort or join other participants in later stages from the other three participating stages, including Pontcharra and La Balme, as well as St Martin, which is the last leg leading to St Andre de Roquepertuis.

However, each group will be expected to depart from their resort on April 28th and aim to link up with others over the course of the four days and riders will be allowed to choose their own routes.

Those who make it to the end will be treated to a welcome BBQ and drinks on May 1st and they can choose to stay on in the area together with the other riders for a well earned rest.

Downloadable route maps can be obtained by emailing adam@evasiontravel.co.uk.
