VIP - Verbier Important People

VIP - Verbier Important People Ski holidays in Verbier are certainly in vogue at the moment, as two sets of royals have decided the ski resort is the perfect destination for them.

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has spent a ski holiday in Verbier with her 18-year-old daughter Princess Beatrice, Hello! magazine reports.

The mother and daughter were snapped in their thermal ski gear and woolly hats on the way to a day of action on the pistes.

Just the week before, Princess Mary and Prince Frederik of Denmark posed for the same magazine while enjoying their Verbier ski holiday.

Mary, who was celebrating her 35th birthday, is pregnant with her second child and her first born, 15-month-old Christian, was happy to have his photo taken alongside his parents.

The Swiss ski resort is garnering an exclusive reputation for itself as one of Europe's premier locations for celebrity-spotting on the slopes.

Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton have enjoyed a Verbier ski holiday, while singers James Blunt and Diana Ross are also regulars.
