ski holiday in Tignes could be just the thing for you, as the resort has been featured in a list of ski resorts with the "world's best snow".
According to the Times, Tignes is in the middle of a phase of redevelopment with money "pouring in".
Furthermore, those taking a
ski holiday in Tignes can look forward to gourmet cuisine, as the publication reports that a new "first-rate" mountain restaurant - Lo Soli - has been established in the resort.
"The skiing is superb. Tignes sits in one of the most beautiful natural bowls in the Alps, with a glacier at the top end and plenty of chilly north-facing slopes," it adds.
However, one of the principle reasons that the newspaper lists it as a reliable resort is its altitude.
Those taking a
ski holiday in Tignes will benefit from being at an altitude of over 2,000 metres, a quality which has earned it a spot in the Good Ski & Snowboarding Guide 2005 as a "snow-sure"
