Some of the most daring young skiers descended on Val Thorens to compete in the North Face Ski Challenge last week.
People on their
ski holidays in Val Thorens were treated to two days of high-octane action from 60 competitors aged between 12 and 18.
The winners were then invited to participate in the Val Thorens Boarder Week alongside some of the best skiers in the world.
They also received sponsorship for two years from North Face with the ultimate aim of becoming a Pro Rider.
Anyone considering a
ski holiday in Val Thorens will find that it is a perfect place to take their children, a fact Marie No?lle Turc, director of the Val Thorens tourist office, emphasised.
"Val Thorens immediately liked and adopted the concept of The North Face Ski Challenge. We want to be able to serve and help a younger crowd," she said.
