Snow Overview
|
In Europe, the best conditions are to be found at high altitude. The snow that fell before the weekend in western Austria is well and truly packed by now,
with good skiing on upper runs. There is fine on-piste skiing in France, especially in Val D’Isere with top weather and enjoyable skiing.
Head up high in Verbier and Zermatt for good skiing on well maintained pistes, or enjoy fast skiing in St Moritz where the pistes remain in good condition.
There has been heavy snowfall in the Californian Sierras, with very deep powder to be enjoyed.
Once the weather settles there will be great skiing to be had. Almost 20cm of new snow fell over the weekend in a number of Canadian resorts,
meaning great fresh powder tracks!
