Snow
Overview
With new snow in both the Alps and North America it’s
almost like winter again!
Last week, the French Alps saw some superb new snow, which has
resulted in excellent conditions in the Three Valleys, Chamonix
and Avoriaz.
Higher points in Austria and Switzerland
have also been blessed with fresh snow, and the Italian resorts
enjoyed a good
dusting over the weekend. You can find fantastic spring skiing
in Cervinia, Verbier and St Anton, which also have extensive
off-piste terrain.
There are still excellent
skiing to be found in the States, with sunshine and fresh snow
in resorts
like Copper Mountain,
Beaver Creek and Vail. It’s a similar story in Canada,
where Whistler and Lake Louise offer excellent spring skiing
conditions.
