Another great attraction to Lillehammer is the range of activites available for non-skiers or as apres-ski. The town has plenty of shops and a leisure centre and you can enjoy other activities such as bobsleigh, bobrafting, toboganning, night skiing, dog sleigh rides, ice hockey matches, visiting the Olympic ski jump and the Olympic Museum.
Close to the Olympic Ski Jump is the toboggan track - you are towed up the hill on your lightweight aluminium toboggan on a button lift and then have an exhilarating run down the hill at some speed, learning to steer as you go - excellent fun and highly recommended for all.
Lillehammer offers far more than the average ski resort, and you would certainly miss out if you didn't take advantage of all that it has to offer.
