A Perfect Budget Chalet 19/01/2014
As the other reviewer pointed out this is not a spacious chalet. It is typical of those pine clad, concrete chalets that were built to capitalise on the popularity of skiing. What it may lack in charm it more than makes up for in the value for money department. I was lucky enough to be assigned the larger room (with on suite) so I'm not complaining at all about the accommodation. As a lone skier one always worries about your fellow guests. I got luck last week, and had a good crowd. Most evenings we stayed in and the drank beer we had bought from the Spar which was a short walk way. There were a number of bars within easy access, some the other side of the piste. Access to the piste was likewise a short distance away, and while adventurous skiers could ski in and out, I (an intermediate skier) found it easier to walk to and from the caravan park. The chalet does not provide WiFi. There are several pay services within range, but the signals are weak and the one I signed up to vanished after the snow fall. My advice to you is to walk across the piste to Monica's where free WiFi is available and the patron is an absolute hoot.

Definition of "simple, no frills" 08/04/2013
You may want to bear in mind that the double room is incredibly small, barely fitting a double bed with no wardrobe or hanging space. Whatever the standard of accommodation is advertised as, you would expect at the very least somewhere to hang clothes to dry, particularly for a skiing holiday!! The chalet owner had not even thought of hanging some hooks on the bedroom walls to hang clothes from. This resulted in us laying out our clothes on the 'heated floor' to dry overnight as there were no radiators! In addition, the bunk-room next door had absolutely no storage space and was barely big enough to swing a cat! Apart from that, the chalet was OK for the price - definitely no frills but a good location and warm. One piece of advice, beware chalets where no pictures of the bedrooms are shown... there is usually a reason!! I have added some pictures to give you an idea.
