This was our second visit to La Rosiere, but the first time in February and the snow conditions were much better.

The Chalet was nice and spacious. It would have been nice if there was a DVD player available, as in our previous visit, as we had young children with us this time.

The food was excellent and the Chalet host was brilliant. He really joined in with the banter and was more a part of the family than a chalet host.

The resort is quiet but we already knew that, the real plus point of the resort is that you can ski into Italy, so you get 2 large ski areas for the price of 1 lift pass.

Ski school was excellent and our 9 year old niece was quickly skiing. We had a member of our party who did not want to ski, but had plenty of other activities to keep him occupied, he attended a number of guided walks and snow shoed up to the restauramnt half way up the mountain

All in all a great holiday, excellent conditions, great accomodation and excellent food

We stayed in 2 rooms at Chalet Belette at the start of February 2009 and were very satisfied with all aspects. The view across the mountains was gorgeous, the slope was 20 metres away and the rooms were well kept and clean. Our Chalet girl was a great cook and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here!
