We stayed here in the Easter break - our host Danny was amazing, he seriously could be a pro chef, the food was awesome. Skiing was great with an excellent range of slopes. The chalet was clean and the rooms were comfortable. Oh did I mention the food? out of 10 I would give it 9. I definitely would return ;)

Cicero is a very basic chalet but is in a fantastic picturesque spot on an isolated hillside. The chalet is warm and clean and our host Paul was totally fantastic, he was an excellent chef and looked after us well throughout our stay. It's possible to ski to within 50m of the chalet down a small track off the Gollet run that heads toward Arc 1600. It only takes approx 5-10 mins of skiing/poling to get to the Cachette lift in 1600 and is better than the option of walking in ski boots downhill, although the path is not best suited for snowboarders.

8 of us stayed in Chalet Cicero for a week in January and had a great time. The Chalet is tucked away from the road with amazing views of the mountains and due to the location you actually feel snowed in. Our Chalet Host Ben cooked good 3 course meals, a cooked breakfast and cake in the afternoon as well as offering a few extras. The Chalet was clean and always warm, we never had to light the oven. Walking to the slopes with your gear takes you about 10-15 minutes if you take a short cut and you will be out of breath by the end of it. Walking back is a mission as it's all up hill, so if you can, ask the Navette driver to stop by Chalet Cicero and mostly they will, even though it's not a scheduled stop. Alternatively ski down to the other end of the Navette route and walk down the hill to the Chalet as opposed to up. The nightlife isn't great in Les Arc 1800, we only went out a couple of times but did have dinner on one of the mountain huts on Ben's night off which was brilliant and well worth the money! However, because there's unlimited wine in the Chalet and we went out to buy our own beer most nights we stayed in and provided our own entertainment. Generally we had a good holiday, the Chalet is comfortable and Ben is a good chef who made us feel welcome.
