This was the best ski holiday we've been on, ticked most, if not all boxes. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. Our room was more spacious than we were expecting & we had a balcony with a view. Plenty of storage & wardrobe facilities. We had 2 meals out in St Anton (we chose to eat out 1 night that we would otherwise have dined in & our chalet host Matt, seemed quite upset). I wouldn't recommend the Maximillian but The Dorf Stuben was excellent & my steak was wonderful & not too expensive, although we are suffering a bit from the exchnage rate. We made the most of our time here & skied everywhere including Sonnenkopf. Transport was very efficient. The area we most enjoyed was probably Rendl which was virtually our own in the mornings! We thought apres ski was the best in Senn Hutte because it had more of a traditional atmosphere with Mooserwirt a close second. We did also sample the loud music & table dancing in Krazy Kangaruh & Tapas. Early evenings were spent watching Gunar at the Piccadilly. After chargin around all day & drinking from 3.30 till 7.30, we were more than happy to collapse in our comfy beds just gone 10!!! Which of course, meant that we were ready for the 1st lift the next morning! Our rep, Michael, couldn't have done enough for us, he was extremely knowledgeable & the little he didn't know about, he soon found out. St Anton was tops for snow; extent; transport; apres; confort; transfer time (1 hr);friendliness of the resort (Austrians are such nice people, my mum keeps telling me (Austrian)). I would definitely return! Prior to our booking, we did find the hotels prohibitively expensive.
