Hotel Le Val d'Isere Reviews

I stayed at the Chalet Hotel Le Val D'Isere for 1 week towards the end of the 2017/2018 season. The location is fantastic right across from the main square near the tourist office therefore, access to the slopes is extremely easy and if you are wanting to go shopping, out for dinner or to a bar for a few drinks it takes no hassle at all. The Chalet Hotel itself is run by friendly and helpful staff and nothing is too much effort, all the meals are delicious with plenty of wine of your choice (red, white or rose).

The Chalet Hotel Val d'Isere is in a prime position in the resort. The time it took from collecting your skis and being on the slopes was minimal and couldn't be any easier. The staff are superb and the food was exactly what we needed after a hard days ski in the Espace Killy.

Awesome location, so central to all the important places - such as Pacific Bar. Rooms basic and on point, and the catering is superb - 3-4 menu choices each night, and all delicious (including the veggie meals - no corners cut there). The swimming pool though is sublime - temparature closer to a hot tub, makes for a lot of fun when it's tipping it down with snow. Best points; location & facilities.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the town centre, walkable to and from the nursery slopes and with a bus stop outside for other areas. The rooms do all vary (although all have en suite facilities) and if fully booked there is a tendancy to occupy all the rooms even if they have problems. There was one room that had a damp issue which the hotel were aware of but it was still used. Some rooms are very small and others are very large so it is pot luck which room you are allocated. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The view from the dining room is amazing. Breakfasts and afternoon tea are fantastic and there is limitless wine at meal time. The evening meal was sometimes disappointing with the main course sometimes not up to standard. The hotel has use of the spa and pool facilities adjoining it. The spa facilities were clean, bright and new however the pool was dirty round the edges and dirty on the bottom. This could be easily rectified with regular cleaning. Overall I think the hotel is run well and offers very good value for money.

This is a superb chalet hotel in a great location. You are in the centre of Val d'Isere, close to the main lifts and everything else! The rooms are really nice, great decor. I would love to stay here one day!
