Les Arcs 2000 31/03/2014
We had a great holiday with lots of snow and sun. Transfers from Geneva to Les Arcs took 3 hours. There was help on hand to carry luggage if needed. The chalet was clean, with plenty of hot water at any time of the day. The food was of a good quality. The chalet staff were friendly and kind. They cleaned the rooms daily. The chalet could do with a makeover to spruce it up, but for the price paid it was good value for money. Chalet staff adapted the menu to fit dietary requirements. Lift passes were purchased on our behalf and delivered promptly. Medical assistance was provided as required and good advice given. All ski reps were knowledgeable and worked hard to cater for our needs. Les Arcs 2000 has a great variety of ski runs to suit all abilities. The slopes are wide and varied. The sledging area was extensive and exciting- not for the faint hearted. The lifts were hardly ever crowded. The lift attendants were helpful and friendly. This is not a resort for those who want to go shopping but you can catch a free bus to Les Arcs 1600 - every 20 mins and from there you can catch the furnicular to B S Maurice, where there are plenty of shops. There are a variety of places to eat, but this can be expensive if you have not chosen a catered chalet option. If you want a ski holiday with lots of great skiing then this is a great resort for you and your family.

Review Chalet L'Arc Arcs 2000 08/04/2011
Food excellent, the hosts were really good — helpful and considerate.

Accomodation good but cramped — three flights of stairs to negociate with boots and skis each morning and evening were the only drawback — a skiroom on the ground floor would have been helpful!

Resort quiet and expensive, but plenty of bars and restaurants available.

Skiing good — link with La Plagne appreciated in the hard snow conditions we experienced. Overall a good week.
