Review 26/02/2009
Absolutely brilliant position, food was great and wine really was unlimited. Staff were lovely and very helpful. It was one of the best weeks skiing I have ever had.

Chalet Maxine, Meribel 25/04/2011
Fantastic location, bang in the middle of the town, we could get on the slopes in less than 5 minutes and were surrounded by the many bars. Would definitely recommend this chalet and Meribel in general if you are looking for somewhere well located in a large, lively resort.

Stayed here w/c 3rd March 2012

We paid £500 so I take the view you get what you pay for when you're staying in the heart of the Three Valleys.

The bedrooms in the chalet are really basic though and there were six of us sharing a shower/bath and separate toilet upstairs; similar for four downstairs. The kitchen was quite yucky too. The communal area was quite nice though.

The food in itself was quite well cooked and presented although not always very warm! The portions were small ish too. The cake at afternoon tea was always superb though!!

Cleaning and tidying was a bit hit and miss as were things like finding plates and mugs available for afternoon tea - had to go rooting!

As I say though it was really central; a five minute walk to the escalator which gets you down to the slopes. Its probably a ten/fifteen minute walk to the main area if you don't get the escalator but most people do. The ski buses run regularly too.

I hope I don't sound too critical - I would go again but if you are expecting luxury this isn't it.

Apres ski in the actual resort is fabulous so this isn't really applicable to the chalet.
