Very nice reception by the chalet staff when we arrived we were given our rooms quickly with no form filling holding us up.

The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom, separate wc and plenty of storage.

Breakfasts were very good with a nice selection of cereals, porrige to order and the daily cooked specials were good. One morning there was no proper coffee as the chalet had run out and the staff said they could not get any - if it had been my chalet I would have bought some from the supermarket 100 yds up the road.

The evening meals were pretty basic but tasty. Good home made soups, the main courses were ok although the potatoes one evening were uncooked and inedible. The staff were very keen to please, cooking my wifes meals without salt when she said there was too much for her liking. Seemed to me that the chalets food budget was a bit on the mean side. Would have preferred local bread with the meals rather than the baked frozen stuff.

Distinct shortage of mugs and glasses in the chalet - we had the glasses we took to our rooms confiscated and replaced with horrible cheap plastic cups which broke very quickly.

Overall good chalet let down by what was probably a stingy operating budget. No complaints about the staff who were keen and friendly.
