It's a great chalet with good location, close to the slopes. Very spcaious for 6 people and the view from the balcony is breath-taking.

We chose the resort of Zermatt for its high snow sure skiing for this time of the year. We stayed at the Perelia and were very impressed with the accommodation. All new amenities and I mean all new!! The chalet had just had a complete renewal. All I can say is that we have stayed in several chalets in France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and the US but this was the smartest one yet. It was modern it did not have the typical wooden panelling all over but was clean, bright and airy. We were hosted by a young man called Gerorge who at only 18 was fantastic the whole week, all meals were very hearty and well presented. We could not fault his professionalism throughout.

As for the skiing, well we were a little disappointed as the lower slopes were not fully prepared and we were unable to ski back to the village all week. It snowed for 4 days but because it was pre season it looked like the runs would only be prepared for the following week. The weather was also very windy and this resulted in the link to Cervinia being closed for 3 days. This was disappointing.

The resort itself was very pretty although a tad expensive but we knew it would be. Due to the lack of prepared runs I would probably only return to Zermatt when the season is more open. Again I would recommend the Perelia to anyone will be very impressed with the standard of food served by George.
