There are good beginners runs at 1850 where you can take the verdons bubble up rather than a pommer lift saving your legs for learning down the nice green runs. For the more experienced, there is vast areas to explore. Well worth a visit.

Review 03/01/2008
We spent a fantastic Xmas week 2007 at Chalet Niege in Courchevel 1650. Snow was good and the resort was great for shops, ski school or finding your ski legs again. The locals were really friendly and the food was great. 1650 has terrific runs with plenty for everyone. Definitely worth getting 3 valleys lift pass as you get access to loads more pistes inc. Meribel and Val Thorens via 1850 (with spectacular views). Lift queues ranged from nil to one minute. Get the ski bus if you want quick access to 1850. Apres ski at 1650 is warm and friendly. Our chalet host Dan deserved a medal for his hospitality, top nosh and sense of humour. The only downside were the coach transfers to and from Lyon airport. Disorganised, late and lengthy journeys in both directions sums it up. Come on [Tour Operator] get is sorted! Despite that, we would definitely head back to 1650. It is villagey, friendly, has great views and something for everyone.
