Hotel Le Tremplin, Morzine, France

This hotel has prime position at the bottom of the slope and hosts the best apres on a wide, sun drenched terrace. Rooms are comfortable, a little on the basic side, but have all the amenities and the staff were helpful, should we have needed anything. Morzine itself is great for beginners, head over to Les Gets for lovely wide open slopes where it's almost always sunny, for more challenging skiing head over to Avoriaz and Switzerland for intermediates and advanced slopes. The Stash park offers something a little different, where you can explore wooden monkey themed structures [they are supposed to be Yeti's - Ed] rather than the usual rails and boxes!
