Hotel Nievesol Reviews

At half term March 2011 we tried Formigal and the Nievesol for the first time. I can say we were suitably impressed by both having previously been to the French Alps many times. The spanish have a laid back relaxed atmophere that comes through and made this holiday the most relaxed I can remember - much needed to! The kids were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed their lessons with the excellent instructors. 50 cm of snow in the 1st two days wasn't quite washed away by the one day of torrential rain and high winds which closed the lifts and we had glorious weather the rest of the week with more than enough snow for some brilliant skiing.

We stayed at the Hotel Nievesol during the Feb half term 2011. We thought this hotel was very nice. All staff were very friendly & helpful, the receptionist, the waiting staff, the lovely ladies cleaning our rooms and we thought the bar staff were exceptional! The location of the hotel was perfect, in the middle of the small town and only a very short bus ride to the slopes, with buses being very regular. The food was quite basic but enough of it, there were chips every night on the buffet so the kids were happy! It was a good hotel for children as there was a games room where they would all play & mingle after there dinner with other children. We would recommend this hotel & we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We are small group of people who go skiing every year & have booked through Iglu for our last four holidays and once again, Iglu have been brilliant.
