Overall

Overall fabulous skiing. A bit icy due to home made snow at the beginning of the year at vallandry but well groomed pistes everywhere else. Amazing run down to Villaroger from top of L'Aguille Rouge. Grand Renard should be reassigned as a black but great slope to go down. Unsure how they designate slopes as some blues should be reds and some reds black and some blacks easy. Atmosphere and apres ski at 1800 still as good as ever.

Paradiski area is amazing! - 06/12/2007
Overall

Les Arcs has great intermediate skiing for families and beginners, especially snowboarders, with door-to-door convenience so you can walk or ski to the lifts without queuing for buses. The top lift goes to 3200m so there's always guaranteed snow. Plenty of affordable bistros in Arc 1800 (best place to stay) plus great bars to chill for the evening. Part of the humungous Paradiski network so you won't get bored. I've skied there a dozen times and there's still plenty to explore, both open and wooded pistes. Highly recommended.

Apres Ski: 5/5
