Have visited this resort three times, once at New Year, once at February half term, once at Easter. At new year the days can be quite short. At Easter part of the resort was closed due to melting. Can't add much to the description on the website here really - it's accurate enough! Not good for advanced skiers but very good for families with small children. Very well kept pistes - some of the best I have seen anywhere, the local people take a real pride in the resort. Good quality cabins, I hope the resort doesn't get over-developed, at the moment it's a bit of a hidden gem.

Great for kids, difficult to lose each other on the slopes! Nice wide runs, fantastic ski instructors. A beautiful place with lovely friendly people. May not suit the more adventurous skier or people looking for varied apres ski. Fantastic for families.

Excellent resort for Beginners, Intermediates and especially families. Fantastic long runs from top of the mountain to the bottom, lots of runs and a great variation to keep you happy all week. Bjornrike is only 20 minutes away and is equally as good. Ski shop is very efficient, and equipment is second to none. Ski school is also brilliant with all tutors speaking excellent English. Skalsbyn Apartments are really good, very spacious and warm and you can literally ski to your doorstep. Not a big resort, but what is there is good and provides a brilliant holiday for families, lots of other things to do besides skiing. Prices are not what you would expect from scandinavia, very resonable (Drink prices are a bit high though) Would recommend this resort to anyone and would go again.
