Sella Ronda

The Sella Ronda ski route is one of the most famous circuits in the Dolomites. It is a circular ski route that runs around the massif of the Sella Mountains that includes 26 km of downhill runs that can be completed in one day. In a single day you will cover the four Ladin Valleys: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Val di Fassa and Arabba.

The loop can be completed both clockwise and anti-clockwise by skiers and snowboarders at an intermediate standard. You can join the Sella Ronda at these villages: Selva (Val Gardena), Colfosco (Alta Badia), Corvara (Alta Badia), Lupo Bianco (Val di Fassa) and Arabba. Including the ski lifts, the length of Sella Ronda is actually about 40km and you are blessed with stunning alpine views and snowy peaks through the entire journey.

It is advised that you start this route by 10am, allowing you to have time to complete the full circuit by 3:30 pm, as some lifts start closing by 4 pm. The runs take about 1.5 hours to complete and expect to be sitting on the chairlifts for about 2 hours, allow extra time for queuing at lifts if you are travelling at peak season.
