Thanks - 02/34/2015
Overall

For the first time ever, I stayed in a Catered Chalet as a single person. We got on well and i enjoyed the experience. Jan 24 - 31. I must add special thanks to the Chalet Host Jenni and Olly who was also helping. Everthing they did for us was excellent including the food. Nothing seemed to cause them a problem and they were always upbeat and cheerful. They even liked the music of Cat Stevens from the 60's and 70s. I would really like it, if you would pass on my thanks to them.

Ski holiday who mm Jan 24 2015 - 02/19/2015
Overall

Small, warm, comfortable chalet for 12. During our stay 10 people were staying. Rooms were small but we found this OK. Food was good . Hosts and rep were very attentive. The communal sitting area was small with comfy chairs for maximum 8 to 10 people. These chairs were uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The boot storage is inside and is good because the chalet was warm, no need for boot warmers. Ski storage was in a convenient lock-up outside. This was a little cramped and would probably be insufficient for 12 skiers/ boarders. The security pad lock on this locker was token only. This storage facility could/ should be easily improved . Wifi was excellent in the chalet. The chalet location is good, right in the old village with many bars, restaurants, supermarket, ATMs etc within easy walking. Ski access is easy once you figure it out, 150 metres to the bottom station of the 'lobster pot' lift above the tourist information office and the Berger lift is in the same area 50 metres further on. You can ski back to these points once you have worked out the route. The Myrtle ski bus stop is outside the tourist office which can get you to and from the ski area. The skiing is varied with some excellent runs.
