Chalet Bouton d'Or Reviews
Nice Chalet by looks and sound in brochure and is right beside the local bus stop to take you to the lifts. Unfortunately the chalet lacks any storage for ski boots which are laid out by the front door (trip Hazard) plus no adequate drying out amenities if boots are wet. Skis are in a tiny shed outside which is sometimes locked. As for the rooms. From our experience, they lacked hangers, hooks and a waredrobe to hang your stuff in. Lived out of my case day by day. We only had 2xstack of drawers which were falling apart every time you opened them. Wash room was decorated nicely although shower cubicle was a little tight especially for the larger person. Could have done with another dustbin in the room as the one in the bathroom was about as large as a coffee mug and was only emptied once during our weeks stay. Walls between rooms were very thin so could hear all manner of noises. One thing we didn't like, was the fact that we had to vacate the chalet for about 3hrs after checking out of the room at 10am on departure day. Instead of being offered the choice of being able to chill-out downstairs in the lounge area whilst waiting for our coach which was one of the last to leave the resort for the airport.
