Chalet Lys Blanc Reviews
When booking the Chalet Lys Blanc we were concerned that the low price would mean a bad location and poor quality. We were wrong. This chalet is in a great position, you can ski to within 5 meters of the boot room and can make the 4 min walk to a local lift in the morning. The chalet staff we had were Joe and Matt, who both catered for us brilliantly. We had great food and plenty of wine each day. The downside to it all is the chalet condition. Although it is comfortable and practical, it is out of date. this is by far most noticeable in the kitchen! the staff did there best but with a constantly leaking dishwasher, and impractical fridge you could not help wandering how much better the food and experience would be if the owner were to invest a little.

We stayed at the Chalet Lys Blanc from 3 April 2011 to 10 April 2011. Our chalet hosts Sophie & Jack were very welcoming and friendly. The chalet itself was clean, comfortable and oozing with charm. The standard of food was truly five star and the unlimited quality wines went down a treat. We were very impressed with our operator. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their area manager Amanda visited us each evening. This is the second year we have been to Meribel & would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking of ski-ing late in the season as we do. Even with temperatures soaring at 25 degrees, the snow conditions on the higher slopes were very good and excellent at Val Thorens. good value at the money paid.
