Chalet Chardon, Tignes, France

Clean, comfortable + cosy chalet with all the basic amenities. Room no 6 had bath with shower attachment and plenty of hot water! We enjoyed our wine and meals in the longe dining area with just enough room for all guests. Chef excelled himself on several occasions but coffee was a bit weak! Staff were generally very pleasant + helpful but making the path to the external boot room safe after a heavy snowfall was unfortunately ignored. The spa facility was great after a day’s skiing but was very small for no of guests. Also jacuzzi was not vigorous enough + a problem with timer meant the sauna was not warm enough to use on Wednesday which was staff’s day off. Location was good - 5 mins 2 shops,swimming pool, Bars etc and only a little further to ski lifts ( Touvier + Palafour). Ski bus to-and-from Val Claret was only 1 minute from Chalet.”
